THE REASON FOR THE VISIT
Tell us what prompted the inquiry so the assessment covers the right equipment and gives you a useful answer.
A general home inspection may flag electrical conditions that need a closer look. We review those findings and assess the affected parts of the installation.
A remodel, new appliance or added charging load may call for a review of panel capacity, existing circuits and the areas the work will affect.
If you have concerns about old wiring, unexplained changes or work by a previous owner, we can discuss an assessment focused on those conditions.

WHAT WE REVIEW
An electrical assessment can include accessible service and panel equipment, visible wiring, grounding and bonding, outlets, switches and protective devices. The scope depends on the property and the reason for the visit. We agree on what you need reviewed before starting.
Some conditions are visible immediately. Others require testing, tracing a circuit or gaining access to a concealed area. We distinguish what we could verify from anything that needs more investigation, rather than treating an inaccessible wall cavity as an inspected part of the system.
MAKING SENSE OF FINDINGS
| What the finding describes | What to establish next |
|---|---|
| A damaged device or connection | The affected circuit, condition and appropriate repair. |
| A missing or unsuitable protective measure | Where it applies and what correction is required. |
| A concern about capacity | The proposed loads and whether a load assessment is needed. |
| Unclear or inaccessible wiring | The access or testing needed to determine the actual condition. |
A recommendation to investigate is different from a confirmed defect. The distinction should remain clear in the agreed work.
TWO DIFFERENT ROLES
Menderix can assess an electrical condition and carry out corrections. A municipal or other authority having jurisdiction is responsible for its own permit inspection and approval. Our assessment does not replace that approval.
If you have a correction notice, send the complete notice rather than a paraphrase. We can plan the electrical work around the cited condition and any necessary follow-up. For property purchases, tell us the deadlines and what the buyer, seller or inspector needs clarified.
FROM FINDING TO REPAIR
We discuss your concerns, the available reports and the property access needed to inspect the relevant electrical equipment.
We distinguish confirmed conditions, further investigation and optional work, then discuss what each means for your project.
The repair scope identifies the affected area and any access, permit or related work it involves.
After the electrical correction, we check the work within our scope and coordinate any agreed inspection steps.
Before you book
Here are a few details to help you plan the work. Call us if your property or equipment needs a closer look.
Yes. Send the report’s electrical pages and photos, along with your questions and timeline. We can assess the cited conditions and help separate a straightforward repair from an item that needs more investigation.
Yes. We address electrical correction work after reviewing the actual installation and any written notice. The exact scope depends on the identified issue and the requirements that apply to the work.
No. The assessment covers the agreed scope and what can be accessed or tested. Concealed conditions and inaccessible equipment can require additional investigation. We explain those limits where they affect the findings.
Yes. A project-focused review can address existing equipment, available capacity and the circuits affected by the planned work. Share the charger or appliance specifications and any plans you already have.
Property size, the reason for the assessment, the equipment involved and the amount of testing or tracing affect the scope. A targeted report item and a broader property assessment are different visits.
